Hanover Township Emergency Services has two new classes to add to its 2017 list of training opportunities. The classes are at no cost to you and will be held at the Hanover Township Campus in the Senior Center at 240 South Route 59, Bartlett, Illinois 60103. May 17th, Wednesday, MGT 381 Business Continuity and Emergency Management Planning.....Prepares small and large businesses to effectively plan for emergencies of all types. Developed in partnership with Walmart, Tyson Foods and JB Hunt Trucking as well as public sector first responders. This course assists you as the local planner and your local businesses in pre planning. In addition to you taking this course, please share it with any business owners you know so they can enroll. The class is 8 to 5, lunch is on your own.
July 19th and 20th, Wednesday and Thursday, MGT 335 Event Security Planning for Public Safety Professionals....designed to provide planning and management skills to individuals for planning and managing the security for special events and identifying security issues for special events and what are the needed resources. Please share this class with local police and emergency management as well as those in local government that plan your large public events. The class is 8 to 5 both days, lunch is on your own.
